| Topic: | The historical background of Hanson Chan’s "Hua Hu (化胡)" series. |

| 2nd Speaker/Performer: | Prof. Sheau-yueh Janey Chao, Professor of Newman Library of Baruch College/City University of New York. |
| Topic: | "From Silk Road to the Yee Family of Arabic Origin". The Silk Road and Prof. Chao’s family Heritage. She will also perform a belly dance after her short speech. |
| Time: | 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm

| 3rd Speaker: | Dr. Renqiu Yu, Professor of History and Director of Asian Studies Program of SUNY-Purchase. |
| Topic: | Introducing "Qing Ke (請客)", the new title by Dr. Yu. |
