Dear fellow CALA members,

The new CALA mailing list (also known as the listserv) has been successfully set up at our new server, cala-web.org. Hopefully we don't have to move our list again because of our job changes. The current list hosted at University of Michigan will soon be closed. Here is the migration plan:

1. All current CALA-L members, as of 7/22/2007, have been added to the new list (CALAList@cala-web.org) on July 23, 2007. Current members as of July 22, 2007 do not need to subscribe to the new list: you have been subscribed.
2. The new list will be officially "launched" on August 1st, 2007. This means starting August 1st, 2007, all postings should be sent to the new list address (calalist@cala-web.org); all request for subscribing/unsubscribing should be sent to the new list addresses (see below).
3. The current list (cala@listserver.itd.umich.edu) will remain accessible until August 15th, 2007. Between August 1st and 15th, 2007 all postings sent to the current list will be forwarded to the new list; all new subscription requests will be forwarded the new server.
4. On August 15th, 2007 the current list will be officially closed and it will not accept any posting or subscription requests. All requests and postings should be sent to the new addresses.

1. To post a message to the new list, send a message to calalist@cala-web.org.
2. To subscribe, send mail to calalist-subscribe@cala-web.org. If you prefer receive mails in digest mode, send subscription request to calalist-digest-subscribe@cala-web.org.
3. To unsubscribe, send a mail to calalist-unsubscribe@cala-web.org. To unsubscribe from digest mode, send mail to calalist-digest-unsubscribe@cala-web.org.
4. For more information about the list and available commands, send a mail to calalist-help@cala-web.org.
5. To contact the list administrator, send a mail to calalist-owner@cala-web.org.
6. List archive (past postings) is no longer accessible via the web. Past postings can be retrieved via the email. For more details, send a message to calalist-help@cala-web.org.
