| Program Description:
This program highlights the role of Chinese American librarians in connecting with and serving the library communities, especially the communities of minority groups. Program presenters will address issues relating to the needs of minority users, their socializing patterns and the specialties of minority librarians in satisfying these needs. The presenters will also share successful strategies for promoting the needs of minority users including Chinese Americans and the visibility of minority librarians, especially Chinese American librarians, their leadership and social skills, and their relationships within and with outside library communities. |
